Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is a welcoming breath of fresh air in the world of Toonami styled anime, for D is one of the first anime characters, introduced by Streamline Picture in the late 80's to America. Now in 2002 from Madhouse and Urban Vision bring us an apocalyptic epic in the world of the dark a new myth of Vampire Hunter D. This new story is one of the best anime that has come out in a while, animating Yoshitaka Amano's character like poetry in motion by Madhouse. The story is bad ass as D is hunting down a powerful Vampire Lord, who has abducted a human woman from a rich family for reasons unknown to them. D is slowed down by monsters and rival vampire hunters on his quest to save the girl. So Stapleholics, check this anime out at local rental place or buy it, you won't be sorry.
