He is the lead of this series of Ghost Rider. Blaze is not in the sidekick roll like in the previous run of the 90s Ghost Rider series. Moreover, the Staples found that this series possess an even darker and more sinister Ghost Rider. This spirit of vengeance does not "Penance Stare" his enemy of their evil ways. Rather he deals out justice to the guilty. and the Staples can only hope that he doesn't play well with other superhero types. This time Marvel does not have a toy or animated series to worry about and might let the character grow into the darker hero, like the Punisher or something in the Vertigo universe of DC comics. This could open up a darker world within the Marvel universe. So check out issues 1 and 2, at newsstand near you.
