Adema - Album Sampler & Adema
By Logan Legacy

While at the Tool concert, the local radio station Live 105 was giving out a free sampler CD. The CD is a two-song sampler to a band named Adema. Naturally being the cheap ass I am, I took the disc. I figured if it sucked, I could use it as a coaster. To my surprise, the sampler rocked. The first single is titled Giving In. This tune has received some airtime and has a great sound. Adema’s sound is similar to Lycinn Park’s style except that it actually sounds good. The second tune, Do What You Want to Do, also sounds like a winner. I am going out on a limb, but I think this album is going to “rock the party that rocks the body”. Unfortunately, this is only a sampler. Adema’s full-length album hits the store on August 24th. So this review is to be continued. Rest assure, loyal readers yours truly will be there to pick it up. Stay tuned!!!! Adema is worthy of a ??????????? out of 10.

Too no surprise, Logan’s opinion of the Adema sampler is true. Their full-length album is great! It has the sounds of all types of music. There is a rap and rock. The influence of Korn is very visible. With Jonathan Davis being a relative of the band, it is no wonder there is a Korn sound. Honestly, Adema is a better sound. They take the good Korn and raise it up another level. The only problem is that a couple of tracks run together. The sound change from rock to rap is a nice touch. It shows diversity. It is amazing to find a band like this. This is a must for any modern rocker. It is too soon for a follow-up but it is certainly on my wish list. Adema is worthy of 8 out of 10.
