Dark Lotus - Tales Form the Lotus Pod

Less then a year from their last release (Bizaar Bizzar), the Wicked Clowns are back. The long awaited Dark Lotus is here. Dark Lotus is a rap group consisting of Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, and Blaze Ya Dead Homie. This album is by far much better then Bizaar Bizzar. I have been waiting for this for a long time. The Dark Carnival is back with the wicked sh*t. None of the songs on this album have titles, which is kinda weird, but it dosen’t matter, because the whole album is fresh as hell. Dark Lotus is as Wicked as they come, and was well worth the wait and the twenty bucks that it costs. Twiztid, ICP, and Blaze have great chemistry on this album. I was skeptical of weather five singers could put together a good album without fighting over mike-time, but they pulled it off with a sound that reminds me of a cross between Rob Zombie (the lyrics) and N.W.A. (the style). I just hope that this rap group doesn’t end up like N.W.A.. This album leaves me wondering if the long anticipated sixth jokers card will be a Dark Lotus album or will ICP go solo on that one. As a big Juggalo (ICP fan) myself, I can’t wait to see whats going to happen next. I would give Tales From the Lotus Pod a well deserved 9/10.
