Drowning Pool - Sinner
By Logan Legacy

Finally, some rock! Has come back to the music world. After the past couple of years, I was beginning to lose faith in rock. With bands like Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Kid Rock rapping their ways up the charts, hard rock was vastly becoming endangered. But with the release of albums like Drowning Pool’s Sinner, there is a gleam of hope. Their first single, Bodies, is banging up the airwaves. Even the world of Sports Entertainment has taken an interest in Drowning Pool. The WWF has made Bodies the theme of their summer pay-per-view, SummerSlam. So rappers beware! Hard Rock is back and it’s “pisst” off. Drowning Pool’s sound is nothing original, all though it hasn’t been present as of late in the music world. Drowning Pool is very fortunate for the musical absences. The album is full of head banging anthems. Hard rock fans take note of this band. They are going places. In fact, they are part of the Ozzfest family this summer. I think Sinners is a decent album. The one draw back is all the songs sound pretty much the same. This album is worthy of a 6.5 out of 10.
