NickelBack - Silver Side Up

The Canadian Quartet, NickelBack, is back with a new album. This is a follow-up to their breakout album, The State. Their latest work really shows growth in the band’s talent. They have refined their sounds and kicked out some great tunes. They have lost their semi-Creed sound for one of their own.
The first single off the album, ”How You Remind Me,” is getting a great deal of attention. It is playing on many stations and the video is on TV often. It is a great song but only a chip off the top. The first song on the album is by far the hardest and best of NickelBack. “Never Again” is a musical tale of horror. NickelBack has really resurfaced with a great album. The ten-song album is one of this Falls best so far. It is worthy of a 9 out of 10. |
