Tenacious D

There is not a great deal to say about the “D”. They are back from their television hiatus. This fall marks their inaugural CD release. The album, Tenacious D, is a hilarious collection of skits and music. The skits are some of the funniest I have ever heard. The skit, At The Drive-Thru” will make one cry. Their music is similar to the tunes sang on their now dead HBO series. Leave it the hilarious Jack Black to sing a folk ballad about one of the lords of sin, Ronnie James Dio. Anyone wanting a good laugh will enjoy this album. Plus the music is easy on the ears. Tenacious D is a masterpiece, and I hope this will mark a wide scale return of the “D”. I am proud to give it the best rating allowed. It is worthy of a 10,000,000 out of 10.
