Weezer

The latest self-titled album from Weezer marks the return of the band after a three year sabbatical from the business. This album has a great deal of energy and enthusiasm that was missing from their previous release, Pinkerton. Weezer is a very fun album. I love to hear it, whenever I want to feel up. I really can’t say anything bad about this album, except it is way too short. It is a total of twenty-nine minutes. One would think that in three years, Weezer could write more than thirty minutes of new material. The first single Hash Pipe is a great, great video. It features Fat Sacs Inc. mascot, Sumos. I only hope it is not another three years before we hear from them again. The length of the album really is a draw back. It is worthy of an 8 out of 10. |
