By Logan Legacy October’s PPV is shaping up to be one of the WWF’s most original this year. We, the viewers, are going to see matches that are new and fresh. The WWF is giving the rookie to the league, Rob Van Dam, a title shot. Anyone familiar with his ECW days will surely agree- it is about damn time! Furthermore, we are seeing a Jerichoholics dream come true. The Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla faces off against the People’s Champ. Moreover, “Fat Man Inc.” is meeting Booker T and Test in solo bouts. And finally, the brothers of awesomeness will collide in a memorable ladder match. Lastly in WWF fashion, there will be a lingerie match between Alliance babes, Torrie Wilson and Stacy Kiebler. The year of 2001 has been a rather disappointing one for the WWF. With their incredibly shrinking roster and ill used WCW talent, the lords of the squared circle were running out of creative steam. October’s PPV is thus disproving this theory and once again demonstrating that there is still life in their old bones!   |
