By MattDogg The first half of this movie sucked ass! However, once the bombs started dropping, and people started getting killed, the film got a whole hell of a lot better. The special effects in Pearl Harbor were spectacular, but I found the love story to be quite cheesy and boring. Many people compare this picture with Titanic; the difference is that the love story in Titanic was top notch. Whereas the love story in Pearl Harbor left much to be desired. My suggestion is to purchase the videotape when it comes out and throw away cassette one, because all the really cool s*it happens on tape two. In reflection I feel that the cool effects, and massive carnage outweigh the rest of the horse crap in the film so I give it the thumbs up and my recommendation.
